DESCRIPTION
Meet Milo!
Some dogs don't let life's challenges define them-and Milo is one of them.
At just 2 years old and around 85 pounds, this handsome boy has already proven how resilient he is. After arriving at the shelter with a severely injured leg, Milo underwent a successful amputation and is recovering beautifully. Now, he's ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family of his own.
Don't let the missing leg fool you-Milo's spirit is as strong as ever! He's incredibly people-oriented and truly believes there are no strangers, only friends he hasn't met yet. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves cuddles and wants nothing more than to be by your side, Milo is your guy.
He's also been keeping his crate clean during his stay with us, so he may already be crate and potty trained. Milo has done well meeting a female dog and a small dog, but he would likely do best as the only dog or with a compatible female after a proper introduction.
Milo has already had all the hard work done. He is:
Neutered
Microchipped
Heartworm negative
Up-to-date on vaccinations
On flea/tick and heartworm prevention
Ready to begin his new life
Milo does need about two more weeks of quiet recovery while his incision continues to heal, but after everything he's overcome, we know the best days of his life are still ahead.
All he's missing now is someone willing to give him the second chance he deserves. Could that be you?
