Lady is a beautiful 57-pound senior sweetheart looking for a soft place to land. After spending years with the person she loved, she found herself in need of a new home when her owner entered hospice care and could no longer care for her. Her records say she is 14 but all signs point to a younger girl. She still has plenty of pep in her step!

Despite all the changes in her life, Lady is a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys the simple things—especially relaxing on the couch. Lady's favorite thing is to head out on a nice, easy walk. Her leash manners are strong and she enjoys an adventure through the neighborhood.

Lady gets along well with other dogs and would be fine with a canine friend, though she'd also be content soaking up all the love herself. She can be a little anxious when she's adjusting to new situations, but once she realizes she's safe, she settles in nicely.
