DESCRIPTION
Meet this handsome little slipper thief!
This spunky, loving puppy arrived at the shelter at just 3 weeks old and has been raised indoors in a foster home with two cats and frequent visitors. He has done well with cats, loves attention from people, and does great in his crate or playpen at night and during work hours.
He is affectionate, playful, and full of personality. He loves tug-of-war, stuffies, cat toys, car rides, and following his person around the house. He gives nose kisses, asks for cuddles with his puppy eyes, and will steal your slippers.
He has a moderate to high activity level and would do best in an indoor home with an active person or possibly a playful pet friend after a proper introduction. He is fixed, has had three parvo shots, knows his name, climbs stairs, and is still working on potty training and learning not to chew on his leash. He does not bark or cry excessively. He barks so little that he might think he's a cat.
With his brown coloring, floppy ears, tan eyebrows, and green-gray eyes, he is as handsome as he is sweet!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The shepherd dog breed encompasses a versatile group known for their intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic. With a heritage deeply rooted in herding and protecting livestock, shepherds excel at various tasks ranging from obedience and agility competitions to search and rescue missions. Their protective nature makes them excellent family pets, offering unwavering devotion and a natural instinct to watch over and care for their loved ones. In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
