From a lonely ditch in Fresno, Texas, to the warmth of your heart, Sierra is ready for her second chance. This resilient 2-year-old mama was found caring for her puppies on the streets, but now that her babies are safe, it is finally her turn to be the center of someone’s world.

Sierra is a sweet, playful soul with a heart of gold. She has the most endearing way of asking for your attention, gently reaching out with her paw to remind you that she’s ready for more pets and love. Despite her rough start, she remains incredibly loving and deserves a forever home where she will never have to worry about where her next meal or cuddle is coming from.

She has spent her life looking out for others, and now she just wants a family to call her own. If you have a spot on your couch for a loyal, gentle companion, Sierra is waiting to meet you.

Sierra would be best as the only dog in the house. She seems to be good with older children, but we do not know how she would act with young children.
