DESCRIPTION
Hi, I’m Zara!
I’m around a year old, 35 pounds, and we think I might be a Shepherd/Husky mix — mostly because I definitely have a few opinions and like to tell you when I’ve woken up in the morning. 😂 Honestly, it’s been pretty helpful because I haven’t had any accidents in my crate at all. I also have an Embark DNA test in the works, so we’ll update everyone once the results are in.
I came from a property in Southern California alongside another young shepherd mix after several neglected dogs were confiscated by authorities. The two of us were unfortunately overlooked in the process before rescue stepped in and gave us a second chance.
I’m currently in foster and already doing awesome with crate training, riding in the car, and starting all the basics. I’m a super sweet girl who’s learning quickly and settling into home life really nicely.
I’d make an awesome adventure buddy for someone looking for a fun, active companion. I do have a few silly herding tendencies, so older or dog-savvy kids would probably be best for me.
Mostly, I’m just a sweet girl ready to find my people and start the next chapter of my life.
