Meet Koda
Koda recently arrived at an overcrowded rural Georgia shelter after being surrendered by his previous owner, and it's clear this sweet boy is struggling to understand why his world changed so suddenly. Heartbroken and confused, Koda spends his days searching for comfort, companionship, and someone to love.
Despite everything he's been through, Koda's gentle nature shines through. He's the kind of dog who simply wants to be close to you — leaning in for pets, soaking up scratches, and happily returning affection right back. There's something incredibly special about his quiet, loving presence.
Koda has previously lived with other dogs and truly enjoys canine companionship. He's also good with cats, making him a wonderful fit for many types of homes. He's well-mannered, walks nicely on a leash, and while he can be a little shy at first, his sweetness quickly wins you over.
More than anything, Koda just wants a second chance — a soft place to land and someone who won't give up on him again. Could that someone be you?
