Avery came into rescue alongside her sister, Ebby, after their family's home was damaged by a fire and they could no longer remain there. Suddenly losing the home and routine they knew was a major change, but Avery has handled the transition beautifully.

She's shown everyone just how adaptable she can be. She settles into a routine, enjoys the people and dogs around her, and seems genuinely grateful simply to be included.
