Meet Samantha - the velcro-est of all the velcro dogs. If you're looking for a second shadow, this girlie's got you, happy to follow wherever you go, quietly keep an eye and throw in the occasional zoomie just to keep things interesting. She's learning more every day - enjoying her walks and car rides, picking up the basics and realizing the kennel isn't really so bad. Quick and curious, she would love a fenced yard and a human who will give her their time, attention, some interesting neighbourhood strolls and the occasional snack. If that sounds doable, Samantha would love to meet you!

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
