Rina - Shar Pei and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in West Branch, Michigan
RINA
Shar Pei, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
West Branch, Michigan
October 27th
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Rina is estimated to be about 3 and a half years old. She is a mixed breed...maybe Shar-Pei, Corgi? Just opinions on that though, no official DNA results. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested with negative results. She has also been dewormed and flea treated.
NO CATS OR FARM ANIMALS! Meet and greets required with any dogs already in the home. She doesn't seem dog aggressive, but we cannot make any guarantees either. She supposedly lived with other dogs before coming here.
RINA DID HAVE SURGERY ON BOTH EYES FOR "CHERRY EYES". BOTH EYES REJECTED THE SURGERY.
We will not be having the surgery done again, as being in the shelter in not adequate for recovery.
Please contact us directly if you're interested in adopting, or if you have any questions.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
