Shar Pei Dogs Available for Adoption in Marseilles, Illinois

Meet sweet Diesel! He is a 10 month old sharpei that weighs about 45 lbs. His owner could no longer keep him. We had him have the entropion eye surgery many sharpeis need and he is doing great! He’s a happy and fun loving boy. Message us for an application.



**Our adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $250.00.
Each dog is examined by a veterinarian before it arrives at the shelter. All of our adult dogs will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, and tested for heart worm.**
***Puppies will have been given age appropriate vaccines and our adoption fee covers spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, and microchip at the appropriate time.***

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
