June can be shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you — this sweet girl warms up faster than you’d expect, especially if you come bearing her favorite treat: cheese! June would thrive in a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace. The best part? June is housebroken, crates beautifully, and didn't bark when she was in a foster home. She also gets along great with other dogs and even cats, making her a fantastic addition to a multi-pet household.

The Shar Pei is a distinctive breed known for their deep wrinkles and blue black tongue. Originally from China, these medium sized dogs are loyal, independent, and protective of their families. Shar Peis have a unique appearance with a hippopotamus like face and a broad, padded muzzle. Their coat can be either horse coat or brush coat, coming in a variety of colors. While they can be aloof with strangers, Shar Peis are devoted companions with a calm demeanor, making them wonderful family pets.
