DESCRIPTION
Say hello to our sweet little JACKIE! She is an adorable Scottish Terrier and mini Schnauzer mix who is just 10 months old and weighs only 9 pounds. She is a very sweet munchkin who is full of fun and loves to play with her Foster family (Long Island) and other dogs. We think she will be an awesome addition to an active family and someone who is knowledgeable about her breeds would be an added plus. She does talk a little so a house would probably suit her better than an apartment and a backyard would be wonderful for her. She really is a charming little girl so reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue@gmail.com) to get more info on her and make plans to come meet her today!
ABOUT: SCHNAUZER DOG BREED
The schnauzer is a versatile and intelligent dog breed known for its distinctive beard and eyebrows. They come in three sizes - miniature, standard, and giant - each with their own unique personalities and characteristics. Schnauzers are loyal, playful, and make excellent family pets. They require regular grooming to maintain their wiry coat and love to be included in activities with their human companions. With proper training and socialization, schnauzers can thrive in various roles, from loving companion to skilled working dog.
The Scottish Terrier, also known as the "Scottie," is a small yet sturdy and independent dog breed hailing from Scotland. With their distinctive wiry coat, bushy eyebrows, and keen expression, Scottish Terriers are known for their confident and dignified demeanor. They are affectionate and loyal towards their families, but can also be strong willed and feisty if not properly trained. Scotties excel in activities that stimulate their intelligent minds, making them excellent companions for active individuals or families seeking a spirited yet loving companion.
