Rhett - Schnoodle and Terrier Dog for Adoption in Richmond, Virginia

Meet Rhett, and adorable 8-month-old scruffy terrier who is ready to find his FUREVER!

This handsome little guy currently weighs around 18 pounds. As for what breed exactly? Your guess is as good as ours! Schnoodle? Terrier mix? A little bit of everything? His DNA may be a mystery, but one thing is certain—he is absolutely adorable.

Rhett is a playful, affectionate guy with a personality all his own. He can be a little submissive with people at first, but he warms up quickly and is incredibly loving. Rhett loves giving kisses and has a special talent for making the cutest little grunting noises when he's sleepy or trying to convince another dog to play with him. He is obsessed with the pups in his foster home and would happily spend all day trying to convince his canine friends to play! Rhett loves his bones, and his favorite trick is “shake.”

Rhett loves playing with other dogs and people - he is also good with kids! He can be a little shy when meeting new people, and loud noises like cars and blenders are still a little scary, but he gets braver every day!

Rhett is house-trained and does great on a leash. Since his brother was recently adopted, Rhett has displayed some separation anxiety and cries initially when left alone in his crate. But he's learning to be more independent and continues to adjust well. Even better? He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and on monthly preventatives! Now all he needs is a home of his very own.

Rhett will thrive in an active, loving home where he can be included as part of the family and get plenty of attention, affection, and playtime. A person who is home more than they are away - and another playful puppy companion- is the dream forever for our boy! He would also have a blast running around a fenced in yard with some kiddos of his own! :)

Rhett's adoption fee is $350 and covers some of the cost of getting him UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped (all complete!)
