Day 6 Griffins Recovery Update

Our sweet Griffin continues to amaze us every single day! Each day brings more progress he is getting stronger, more active, and showing us more of his precious personality.

His amazing foster mom has been learning Griffins fears, his needs, and the things that help him feel safe. She is giving him the patience, structure, and love he needs as he continues to heal.

We are learning more about what Griffin needs in his forever home:

Griffin must have a secure structural fence.
Thunderstorms are terrifying for him, and when he is scared, his instinct is to run. A safe, secure yard will be a must.

He needs an experienced dog owner who understands fear and anxiety in dogs especially storm and fireworks fears. A home with dogs who are also familiar with these fears may be a good fit.

Griffin is learning new things every day! He is working on steps and can now handle 2 steps. Every little victory matters!

Griffin came to us needing to gain weight. Foster mom has been working hard, feeding him 5 small meals a day, and because he is doing so much better, he is now ready to transition to 3 regular meals a day.

No small children Griffin needs a calm, understanding home where he can continue building confidence.

Griffins forever family will need to have love, patience, and commitment. He has been through so much, and now he deserves someone willing to help him continue overcoming his fears and learning that the world can be a safe place.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of Griffins journey from his rescue, medical care, foster family, and supporters. It truly takes a village.
