Meet Milo! This little guy is ready to write his next chapter!
Milo is a 3-month-old Wowsers (West Highland Terrier/Schnauzer mix), weighing approximately 6 pounds of pure puppy cuteness!
Milo and his brother OJ came to Once Upon A Prayer Pet Rescue after a brother and sister purchased a puppy each from a breeder. After about a month, the family realized that puppies were more work than they had anticipated and made the decision to surrender them to rescue. Thankfully, these two landed with us, and now they're getting the time, structure, and guidance they need to become the amazing dogs they're meant to be.
Milo has been completely vetted and is doing great with his new routine. He's learning that his kennel is his safe space and that potty time belongs outside! It took a couple of weeks for him to figure out the routine, but he's really starting to catch on. He's keeping his kennel dry more consistently and is learning to go potty outside like a champ. He's still a puppy, so his new family will need to continue working with him, but he's off to a great start!
Milo is good with dogs, cats, kids, and everyone he's met. He's playful and curious, but he's a little more reserved than his brother OJ. Milo likes to take things in and figure them out before jumping right into the action. Once he feels comfortable, though, his sweet puppy personality comes shining through.
Milo is truly a blank slate—a sweet little puppy who is ready for someone to teach him, love him, socialize him, and show him just how wonderful life can be. He's going to be an amazing little companion for the family willing to continue guiding him as he grows.
If your heart has room for a sweet little guy who may need just a little time to come out of his shell, Milo is waiting to meet you!
As with all of our adoptable dogs, Milo will go home with a collar, leash, toy, and two bowls, along with his current food. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and medical care. His adoption fee is $1000, which is tax-deductible and helps us continue rescuing dogs in need.
