For four long months, Samuel survived on his own as a stray in Georgia, somehow managing to avoid capture while searching for food, shelter, and safety. Thankfully, his story has a happy ending, and this handsome 4-year-old, 44-pound boy is finally safe and ready to find a home of his own.

Samuel is a sweet, quiet, low-key dog who enjoys the simple things in life. He loves exploring his surroundings (he certainly has plenty of practice!), appreciates gentle attention and pets, and is happiest in a calm environment. While he can be a little nervous at first, it doesn't take long for his gentle personality to shine through.

Samuel gets along well with other dogs and seems to prefer calmer canine companions, especially while he's settling into a new home. With a little patience and kindness, he's sure to become a loyal and loving best friend.

Samuel is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. Now all he needs is someone to show him what it's like to finally have a place to call home.
