DESCRIPTION
Coquito is an 8-year-young sweetheart with so much love left to give. Weighing just 10 lbs, he’s the perfect little lap dog who’s happiest when he’s close to his people. This charming boy is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash—an easy companion ready to fit right into his new home.
Coquito’s story hasn’t always been easy. He was found surviving alone on the streets of Puerto Rico, and it’s clear he once belonged to someone and was sadly left behind. Despite that, his spirit remains incredibly loving and trusting. After being rescued, he made his way from the streets to boarding, then into a foster home in Puerto Rico, and now he’s safe in New Jersey—ready for his fresh start.
Coquito is friendly with kids and other dogs, and truly loves everyone he meets. His gentle, affectionate nature makes him the kind of dog who will quickly become your little shadow and best friend.
Now all Coquito needs is a forever home where he can finally feel secure and cherished for the rest of his days.
