Nemo #3 | 5-month-old Mini Schnoodle | Your adorable little shadow
Nemo is a sweet, playful 5-month-old Mini Schnoodle who loves everyone he meets—people, dogs, and, perhaps a little too enthusiastically, cats. He is a high-energy puppy who loves walks, toys, tennis balls, and anything he can chew, and he is always ready for his next adventure. He is also a total Velcro pup who wants to be wherever his people are and loves being held like a baby.
Nemo is still working on his puppy manners, including house training, basic commands, play biting, jumping, and learning to settle when crated or left alone. He is a fast learner and responds well to training, especially when treats and affection are involved. He is also an enthusiastic chewer and has a habit of trying to eat anything he can find, so his new family will need to keep a close eye on him. He does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion, although he could also be happy as an only dog. Because he chases and barks at cats, a cat-free home would be best.
Nemo would thrive in a home where someone is around much of the time and can give him plenty of attention, exercise, structure, and dedicated training. A fenced yard would be a big bonus for those puppy zoomies! As with any puppy, accidents can happen while he is adjusting to a new home and routine.
If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
The adoption fee for this pet is $475 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following:
Spay/neuter
Microchip
DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption.

. Please give us 72 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls.
PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/
Our adoption process is:
