Meet Roque!
Roque is the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people. He's a calm, steady guy who enjoys being part of your day, whether that's going for a walk, moving around the house, or relaxing on the couch (at your feet, of course). He's not overly cuddly, but he shows his affection in his own way, by choosing to stay close.
Roque walks beautifully on leash and is happy to head out for a stroll whenever you are. He doesn't need endless exercise to be content, but he does enjoy getting out and about and taking in the world at his own pace.
He's neutral with other dogs and does best with calm, respectful companions who give him space. He's not looking for a best friend to wrestle with, but he can coexist just fine or be perfectly happy as your one and only.
Roque can be a little cautious with new people, especially men, but given a bit of time and a gentle approach, he warms up and becomes a loyal, easy companion.
At home, he's low-key and easy to live with. He's crate trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and is working on his house manners with continued progress. Roque would do best in a quieter home where he can settle in at his own pace and be near his people often.
