Schnauzer and Scottish Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet our sweet girl, Samara. She's looking for a patient and understanding home to call her own. She can be a bit skittish when first meeting new people, but with time and gentle encouragement, she truly warms up and shows her loving, loyal personality.

She tends to feel more comfortable around women and may need extra time and space to build trust with men. Because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in a calm home without small children. She also prefers to be the only dog, where she can feel safe and not have to compete for attention.

She may have a sensitivity or allergy to chicken, so her diet will need to be monitored accordingly.

Once she feels secure, she’s a wonderful companion who bonds deeply with her person. She’s looking for someone patient, kind, and willing to give her the time she needs to blossom.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Samara’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
