Rita - Schipperke Dog for Adoption in Olympia, Washington

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/
We must have an application to move forward.

In foster near Tumwater, WA

RITA is an absolutely sweet and easy-going female. She definitely is mixed breed but her body style and size is that of a Patterdale Terrier... a breed from Northern England bread to be strong and sturdy...capable of withstanding cold, wet, and windy weather. Rita is just that...She is 30# but not very large or tall. The phone app scanned her picture suggests that she could be part Schipperke, too. She is 7 yrs old but often acts like a puppy when running and playing with the rest of the dogs. She is calm and quiet and loves attention. She is easy on the leash; rides well in in the car. She also totally leaves my 4 cats alone. She would be good as a companion with walks around the block or visits to the lake. I would not put her with playful children. I don’t believe she’d do anything other than go to a different room.

Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You
will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received.

Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation.

If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060.

HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

The Schipperke breed is a lively, small sized dog originating from Belgium. Known for its black coat and fox like appearance, the Schipperke is characterized by its fearless and independent nature. These intelligent and curious dogs are loyal companions, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Though they are small in size, Schipperkes have a big personality and require plenty of mental stimulation to keep them engaged. With proper training and socialization, the Schipperke can make a wonderful family pet for active households.

We are foster based so meets can happen 7 days/week since we do not have 'office hours'. It is up...
