Meet Lincoln Biscuit

Lincoln Biscuit is estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs approximately 25 pounds, making him a wonderful, manageable size for many homes.

He was picked up as a stray in Brady, Texas and, due to the shelter being very small, was placed on the euthanasia list. While his exact history is unknown, it is clear he was once a beloved pet.

Lincoln Biscuit is exceptionally well behaved, eager to please, and deeply affectionate with his people. He thrives on human companionship and enjoys being close to his humans. He loves car rides, does great with dogs of all sizes, and is happiest when playing with dogs or spending time with people.

He has been around cats, goats, chickens, horses, and cattle with no issues. He is agile and athletic but not destructive. He does not dig and has not shown problematic yard behaviors. He is capable of getting over a short fence if motivated, so a home that values supervision and companionship is ideal.

Lincoln Biscuit is food motivated, intelligent, and full of personality. He is far from boring and brings joy, engagement, and energy into daily life.

While Lincoln Biscuit is still working on potty training, he is eager to learn and highly motivated. With consistency and a routine, we have no doubt he will catch on quickly in a home environment.

One important thing to know about Lincoln Biscuit is how much he loves people. He bonds closely and wants to be where his humans are. We believe this strong attachment may be how he ended up lost. He will do best in a home where he is treated as a true companion and included in everyday activities.

Lincoln Biscuit is a loving, loyal, well rounded dog who is ready for a home where he will be cherished.

The Schipperke breed is a lively, small sized dog originating from Belgium. Known for its black coat and fox like appearance, the Schipperke is characterized by its fearless and independent nature. These intelligent and curious dogs are loyal companions, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Though they are small in size, Schipperkes have a big personality and require plenty of mental stimulation to keep them engaged. With proper training and socialization, the Schipperke can make a wonderful family pet for active households.
