Turtle - Samoyed Dog for Adoption in Mead, Colorado

TURTLE

Samoyed
🇺🇸
Mead, Colorado
November 2nd
male, large, baby

DESCRIPTION

Turtle is a 3-month-old, Samoyed mix who is basically a fluffy little package of puppy perfection... with the occasional side of mischief. He’s a happy, social little guy who has loved everyone he’s met so far and seems to think dogs, cats, toys, and humans are all pretty fantastic.

He’s off to a great start with his manners! He knows sit and shake, is very food motivated, and has already figured out that sitting politely is the way to get his meals. He’s doing well in his crate, sleeps through the night, and seems perfectly content hanging out with a Kong or other goodies when left alone.

Of course, he’s still a puppy, so expect the usual chewing, mischief, and occasional questionable life choices. But he’s a smart, sweet, playful little guy with a great foundation and lots of potential. If you’re looking for a fluffy sidekick to grow up with, Turtle might just be your guy!

Turtle was found at only a day old inside of a trash bag. He was bottle fed and raised in a loving foster home with children and other dogs. He’s a very strong, healthy, boy now.

Turtle is in foster in Lakewood, Colorado.

ABOUT: SAMOYED DOG BREED

The Samoyed is a friendly and gentle dog breed known for its striking white coat and smiley expression. Originating from Siberia, Samoyeds were originally bred for herding reindeer and pulling sleds in harsh, cold environments. With their playful and sociable nature, Samoyeds make excellent family pets and are particularly good with children. They are intelligent, adaptable, and require regular grooming to maintain their fluffy, weather resistant double coat. Samoyeds thrive on human companionship and make loving, loyal additions to any household.
