Meet Casper! The Fluffy smiley Giant with a Soft Heart!

Say hello to Casper, a 3-year-old cream-colored Samoyed mix with a cloud-like coat and a lovable personality to match! He smiles all the time and is happy and friendly forever! Rescued and brought into the shelter, Casper has adjusted well and is now looking for a forever family who understands the needs of a large, fluffy pup. He's full-grown and full of charm, especially when he's showing off his affectionate, goofy side.

Casper does really well with people and kids. He is affectionate and just full of love. He's typically calm or indifferent around others; despite his size, he's not a barker. However, while he doesn't guard food from humans, he may grumble if another dog gets too close during mealtime; Casper's been working on this with his foster family and is doing much better. If coming into a home with other dogs or cats (he hasn't met any cats yet), slow introductions would be needed.

Casper is house-trained (he prefers to go during walks) and walks okay on a leash; he still pulls but is a good listener. He is generally a bit anxious and fearful so would need a family who can love him with patience. His foster family has been working on walking by big busses and he's been improving!

Casper has so much potential for the right home! He will especially need to go to one without dog allergies and with a love for large breeds. Casper will need to be groomed regularly to keep his fluffiness! He's not a big fan of being brushed but will tolerate it if given a lick mat.
