DESCRIPTION
Hello, my name is: Lizzie
Approx. DOB: 2/14/2026
Weight: ~25 lbs
Sex/Breed: Female Saint Bernard mix
Rescued From: Overcrowded shelter
If you've ever wished for a dog who looks like she could moonlight as a tiny bear but has the heart of a sweetheart, Lizzie might just be your girl!
Lizzie was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and is now getting the chance to discover what the good life is all about. She's still on the skinny side and has plenty of growing to do, but she's already a big puppy! With her fluffy looks and impressive size, we think there may be a little Saint Bernard somewhere in her family tree.
One thing we know for sure? Lizzie has never met a stranger. She absolutely loves people and gets along beautifully with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. If your current pup has been wishing for a best friend, Lizzie would happily accept the position. This girl is the sweetest! She's doing well with crate training, enjoys hanging out with her people, and would fit right in with a family that appreciates a big, lovable companion. She'd also do great with kids who are comfortable around large dogs.
Like any young pup, Lizzie is still learning the ropes. Leash walking isn't her favorite activity yet, and her overall training is very much a work in progress. Because of her size and developing leash skills, we'd love to see her go to a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely stretch those long legs while continuing to build her confidence.
Lizzie doesn't need a perfect home—just a patient one that's ready to help her grow into the amazing dog she's already showing everyone she can be. She's kind, social, affectionate, and simply an all-around wonderful girl who's ready for her happily ever after. Please help us find Lizzie the forever home she’s been searching for!
All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Saint Bernard is a large and gentle dog breed known for its loyalty, affectionate nature, and impressive strength. Originating from the Swiss Alps, these dogs were historically used as rescue dogs due to their keen sense of smell and ability to navigate through harsh terrain. With their iconic droopy jowls, expressive eyes, and massive build, Saint Bernards make wonderful family pets, often forming strong bonds with children and adults alike. Their calm demeanor and easygoing attitude make them a favored choice for those seeking a devoted and loving companion.
