Meet Freya!
Freya is a 2-year-old St. Bernard mix with a gentle soul and the kind of eyes that tell a story. In her photo, you’ll notice her soft, sad gaze—and it’s hard not to wonder what she’s been through. As an owner surrender, Freya is still adjusting, but her sweet nature shines through despite it all.
Her name, Freya, comes from Norse mythology—she is the goddess of love, beauty, and compassion. It couldn’t be more fitting for this girl. Freya is full of quiet affection and is just waiting for someone to show her the love she deserves.
At around 60 pounds, she’s a perfect medium-large companion who is both kid-friendly and dog-friendly, making her a wonderful addition to a family home. She’s not yet spayed, but she’s ready to start her next chapter with a family who will give her stability, patience, and kindness.
Freya may have sad eyes now—but with the right home, we know they’ll soon be filled with joy. Could you be the one to give her that happy ending?
