Rosie is a very sweet, 3 year old old St. Bernard who came to us with her sister, Ruby. They were purchased by their owner for breeding purposes. Lucky for these two, they realized they didn't have time to deal with puppies, much less two adult dogs, so they surrendered them to us.
Rosie is a little smaller than her sister, weighing 90lbs, but she could use another 10 lbs. Overall, she is a petite Bernard.
Rosie is doing great with all the other dogs at the Sanctuary, but would prefer to either be the only dog, or with a male dog. She has also been good to the cats, which I'm told she had never been exposed to at her previous home.
Rosie would love a home where she could snuggle with you for movie night. She is a huge cuddle bug and loves attention! She was raised with young kids in her previous home and did great with them.
Rosie is house and crate trained. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
She does require a fenced yard.
If you would like to meet Rosie, please reach out and we will send you an application. We do require an in person Meet and Greet prior to adoption, so if you live in another state, please make sure you are able to travel to Missouri for that. We are located in Dittmer, MO.
