George (1 Year Old) - Saint Bernard and Great Dane Dog Available for Adoption in Albany, New York

Ever feel like your shadow isn’t big enough? Meet George—100 pounds of pure “Velcro dog.” Believed to be a St. Bernard/Great Dane mix, George is as affectionate as he is large.

George is housebroken, crate trained, and knows his basic commands, including sit, down, and paw. He’s currently working on leash manners and is making great progress.

He forms strong bonds with his people and can be a little cautious around new faces at first, but with proper introductions, his sweet and loving personality quickly shines through. George currently lives with a foster sister (a female dog) and does well in that environment. Due to his size—and the fact that he sometimes forgets just how big he is—George would do best in a home without small children or small animals.

We believe George is around one year old, so he still has some growing to do. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has even had a gastropexy.
