Clara - Russian Toy Dog Dog for Adoption in Catlettsburg, Kentucky

Clara is a very charming 8 month old Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka. She was a little timid at first, but is certainly coming around and loves the young daughter in her current foster home. She tries to play with the other resident small dogs, but they are a little older and are not as interested in activity as she. She is working on leash training and is at the point where she is used to dragging the leash as she walks but is still a little resistant when you pick up the leash and want to control where she goes. Her potty training is coming along nicely and has foster mom reports great progress. She is very smart and with a regular schedule, basic obedience training and attention she will make a wonderful companion pet. Her foster mom does believe she would enjoy being in a home with another small dog. Bolonkas do have a long wavy hair which naturally looks unkempt when it is left natural and they do require frequent combing if you plan on keep them in full coat. If you are not that into combing they can certainly be professionally groomed in a cut that makes the hair a bit more manageable. We are trying to keep Clara long so that her new family can decide how they would like to maintain her hair.
