Dottie - Rottweiler and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in San Francisco, California
DOTTIE
Rottweiler, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
San Francisco, California
August 24th
female, extra large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Dottie is a striking ~100 lb Rottweiler mix. This girl is quiet, easygoing, and pretty lazy! She loves to sleep and we don't think she'll need much more than a couch or dog bed and a few short walks a day to be happy. We're still getting to know her, but we'd love to see Dottie find an awesome couch to crash on, whether it's a foster home or a permanent home.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Rottweiler is a powerful and loyal breed known for its robust build and confident demeanor. Originating from Germany, these dogs are renowned for their intelligence, making them excellent guard and working dogs. Rottweilers are known for their distinctive black and tan markings, along with their calm and confident temperament. With proper training and socialization, they can be affectionate companions and effective protectors, embodying the qualities of courage, strength, and loyalty.
