Grade 4/6 heart murmur, diagnosed by Purdue University Cardiology with severe subaortic stenosis; there is concern for further progression of the severity as the disease continues to develop with age. A cardiac recheck would be ideal in January 2027 (6 months) for monitoring, but is unlikely to change therapy recommendations, and BTR will not be pursuing additional cardiac. A recheck at ~1 year of age is recommended to assess disease status and progression and will be the responsibility of the adopter. Currently on twice daily medication for heart condition.
