Her Journey & Health Status

Vixie was saved from a high-kill rural facility where she was facing euthanasia simply due to lack of space. Despite her rough start, her gentle soul remains completely intact and she is now safe with the rescue.

Heartworm Status: Vixie is currently heartworm positive, but don't let that intimidate you! She is on a mild, slow-kill treatment protocol. The treatment is simple, inexpensive, easily administered at home, and completely manageable. The rescue will walk you through every step to ensure she stays on track for a full, healthy life.
