Lago is a sweet, loving boy who is ready to find the forever home he deserves! He was found roaming a subdivision for over a month, always hanging around the neighborhood lake. That’s how he got his name — Lago means “lake” in Spanish!

Despite spending so much time on his own, Lago has proven to be a wonderful boy who loves people and enjoys being around his humans. He is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows commands like “sit,” “wait,” and “come.” He loves soaking up the sunshine, playing with a basketball, and having fun with the water hose!

Lago is an active, outdoorsy guy who would make a great companion for someone who enjoys walks, adventures, and spending time outside. But don’t let his adventurous side fool you — he also loves affection and soaking up attention from his people!

What about other dogs?

Lago has shown himself to be a gentle, tolerant boy. When another dog gets overly playful, jumps on him, or tries to engage him in nonstop play, Lago may bark to communicate that he’s had enough and will often choose to walk away rather than engage in conflict.
