Savannah - Rottweiler and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Gainesville, Florida

I am a sweet, silly extra large gal with a tail that's always wagging! I enjoy snuggles, meeting new people, and the company of gentle puppy pals in shelter playgroups. I am looking for a dedicated adoptive home or 501c3 rescue group that can help me with some specialty medical care that is beyond the shelter's ability to provide, as I have a torn cruciate ligament in my hind leg. I may need a surgery commonly called a 'TPLO', or a tibial plateau leveling osteotomy, to stabilize my knee joint. It is not uncommon for pups with CCL tears to need the other leg surgically repaired after some time, as all the hoppin' around on one leg can put excess strain on the uninjured knee.
