Moose - Rottweiler Dog for Adoption in Bolivar, Tennessee

Meet Moose #26192. Moose came to us through county animal control. His owner (male) had passed away and he was too big for his family to take him. We are still learning about Mr. Moose. Here is what we do know: he was kenneled at animal control with two other intact males. At the shelter he goes into the play yard with these same guys. At the shelter he has been handled by many volunteers without incident. He went on a meet-n-greet that was likely overwhelming for him and he did growl at a lady. (Full disclosure here).
Mr. Moose has not been neutered but WILL BE BEFORE BEING ADOPTED. Since he has spent a large part of his life outside, adopters with a secure fenced yard will get preference. He tested heartworm positive and has been started on slow kill. He is asymptomatic. Contact us to meet this gentleman!!
