Hi, I'm Kuma. 🖤

You may remember me as Josie, but I have a new name now and I'm starting fresh.

I'm a 7-year-old Rottweiler who was originally found as a stray in Saint Joe. Life hasn't always been easy for me, and I carry some of the signs of being used as a breeding dog in the past. But through it all, I've never stopped loving people.

I was recently returned to the shelter due to changes in my owner's health, so through no fault of my own, I'm looking for a home again.

I'm incredibly affectionate and loyal, and once I bond with you, I'll be your shadow. I will be honest though--I'm still learning the rules of living in a home. Sometimes I get curious about counters or try to slip out the door, simply because no one ever taught me what was right and wrong before.

But here's the best part: I really want to learn. With a little patience, guidance, and love, I know I can be the amazing companion I was meant to be.

* I have a huge heart and love my people deeply
* I'm ready for a fresh start

Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
