Rescue partner spotlight
Dr. Cameron Kindra, is a huge resource and support to our rescue.
Dr. Kindra earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan in 2014 and his Doctorate from the University of Illinois in 2018, followed by a 1 year small animal rotating internship at Purdue University. Dr. Kindra then spent 6 years as an emergency vet before transitioning to primary care. He is currently working here in McHenry.
Dr. Kindra found his passion for working with rescues during his time with the University of Illinois’ shelter medicine program, which opened doors to helping on mission trips to Nicaragua with the WorldVets/AprosVets organizations. Today, he focuses most of his work with local rescues & looks forward to expanding that work to community outreach programs.
We don’t know what we would do without his support ! Thank you for all you do.
