Meet Loretta Lynn
Loretta Lynn was the first born of Reba's litter of 8, and this sweet little girl has had personality from the start. Her mom, Reba, was rescued from the shelter after being there for about a month. At pickup, she appeared pregnant, and a vet visit confirmed she was a little over halfway through her pregnancy. Reba went straight to foster care and, right on time, delivered 8 healthy puppies in the bathroom. It was quick, easy, and everyone did wonderfully. Reba was a great mom, and it has been so fun watching each puppy grow into their own unique little self.

Reba may have had a rough start, but Loretta Lynn will never know the life of a stray shelter dog — and now she is ready to find the forever family she deserves. Her $550 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. She is currently in Louisiana.

The Rhodesian Ridgeback, originally from Southern Africa, is a breed known for its distinctive ridge of hair along its back that grows in the opposite direction of the rest of its coat. This intelligent and loyal dog is a versatile hunter, originally bred to track and contain lions. With a strong and muscular build, the Rhodesian Ridgeback is also a loving and devoted family companion, displaying affection and protectiveness towards its loved ones.
