*Sweet, kind natured fella. A bit shy and meek and quiet. Can overwhelm quickly but working on getting braver by the day.

Can't go wrong if a dog's name has a "paw" in it, right? ĀSPAWLDINGĀis a delightful, more quiet, meek mid-sized fella. ĀFound as a stray, as sweet and kind as he is, Āit's sad to think no one is looking and or missing him but we're super pleased to have him under our care so YOU can have a chance at bringing this gentle soul into your home. ĀPolite and submissive, ĀSpawldingĀis getting more brave by the day but can still startle and or easilyĀget overwhelmed. ĀHe's not much into toys rightĀnow and seems to enjoy cautiously exploring our play yard areas and thenĀhe'll stop and almost place his head in your lap! ĀAlmost! Dressed for success with his light tan, suede coat and snazzy, black muzzle, ĀSpawldingĀseems open to meeting other dogs and is working very hard to gain his footing and understand his new normal. ĀNothing would please him more though, Āthan for you to acceptĀhim under your wing and take him home.

Introducing SPAWLDING! Folks, this is the nicest and most kind doggy. He's still finding his footing with us but already he's a standout amongst some of the volunteers. With our kennels full and more coming in daily, we had Spawlding in a large crate in our busy office area yesterday.

Was he a champ?? Totally!!! He was so brave and did such a wonderful job. With a steady flow of people and dogs and just action and chaos (at times), he was amazing as he took it all in. He was excellent exiting his crate and also going back in it. In between, he got some special one on one time outside with one of his fave humans who loved and doted over him.

If you are into the underdog, SPAWLDING is the one for you. Wearing his heart on his sleeve, he's hoping maybe YOU notice him!! Note: 4 yrs old; 45lbs. Also note the "paw" in his name!
