DESCRIPTION
Brianna is a 5-year-old, approximately 40-pound Labrador Retriever mix with a goofy personality, lots of energy, and an even bigger heart. She loves walks, fetch, toys, treats, and curling up close with her people. She is affectionate, playful, and gentle with the people she trusts. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She knows sit and down, comes when called, and takes treats gently.
Brianna is looking for an adult home or home with older children who know how to respect boundaries. She would do best as an only pet or perhaps a home with a larger, calm dog for a companion.
She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. She has no special dietary needs and currently eats Purina Pro Plan salmon dry food. Harley previously tore both cranial cruciate ligaments, commonly called canine ACLs. Both were surgically repaired, she completed physical therapy, and she is now active and enjoying life without specialized care.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The retriever is a beloved dog breed known for its friendly demeanor, intelligence, and exceptional ability to retrieve objects. With a loyal and gentle nature, retrievers make excellent family pets and are popular choices for service and therapy work. These dogs excel in obedience training and activities such as agility and hunting. Recognized for their shiny coats and moderate size, retrievers come in various colors including golden, Labrador, and Chesapeake Bay. Their overall versatility and affectionate personalities make them cherished companions in many households.
