After coming to us as a stray - shut down, scared, and carrying an airpellet lodged in his head - River had every reason to give up on humans. But he didn't. And after four weeks of safety, patience, and love, his real personality has burst through. River is now a goofy, playful, silly boy who loves to bounce around, explore, and be part of whatever you're doing. He still has some trust issues, but once he realizes he's safe, he becomes deeply devoted. River is Neutered, UTD on Vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventatives. We are guessing he's between 4 and 5 years old. River deserves a family who sees the sweetness behind the shyness, someone who will let him bloom the way he has with us.
