Reno came to Buffalo feeling incredibly scared and unsure of the world around him. While he's made amazing progress with his foster family, he's still wary of strangers and new people, so he'll need a patient, understanding family willing to help him continue building confidence.

Reno is looking for someone committed to giving him the time, structure, and love he needs to truly thrive.

Once you earn his trust? He transforms into the goofy, playful puppy he was always meant to be!
He loves toys, enjoys a good game of fetch, and has all the fun-loving energy you'd expect from a retriever mix. His foster mom thinks he may be a Golden Retriever / Shepherd mix, possibly with some Malinois too!

A few things about Reno:
Doing great with crate training (can comfortably stay crated up to 7 hours)
LOVES cats
Selective with dogs
Extremely loyal once bonded
Playful, silly, and toy-obsessed

Reno may need a little extra patience in the beginning, but the bond you'll build with him will be incredibly special. His future family will gain one of the most loyal companions imaginable.
