Biscuit is a 4-year-old, 47-pound sweetheart looking for a loving, stable forever home. She is affectionate, loyal, playful, and intelligent, and loves spending time with her people. Whether she's enjoying a walk, exploring her surroundings, or relaxing at home with her favorite humans, Biscuit is happiest when she's included.

Biscuit's number one request? To find a family that will love her FOREVER.

About Biscuit:

-Potty trained and crate trained
-Walks well on a leash and knows basic commands
-Dog friendly; does best with low- to medium-energy dogs
-Affectionate and people-oriented
-Smart, curious, and eager to learn
-Well-mannered in the home with no potty accidents or destructive behavior in her foster home
-Biscuit enjoys walks and playtime but also settles in nicely and is happy to relax near her people.
-She would do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine companion.

Biscuit's Ideal Home:

Biscuit would thrive in a home where her family is home often and can provide plenty of companionship. She is not a good match for homes with cats. Older, respectful children are preferred, as Biscuit can get jumpy when excited and may accidentally knock over younger children.

Biscuit is not suited for apartment living, as she can sometimes be vocal in her kennel.

A home that can accommodate her needs and provide a consistent routine will help her continue to thrive!

Her Journey So Far:

Through no fault of her own, Biscuit has experienced multiple changes in homes. Due to having so much change in her short life, Biscuit really thrives with consistency and structure - a routine makes her feel confident and secure! Her knew home should expect a transition phase as Biscuit learns her new home, people, and routine. Once she settles in and knows she is safe, her personality and confidence will blossom! While in our care, Biscuit has been consistently working with a wonderful trainer who is helping her build confidence and work through some anxiety. She is doing so well and ready to finally find her forever - something that Biscuit truly deserves.

Biscuit deserves a family committed to providing the patience, stability, and love she needs to feel safe and settled. In return, she'll offer plenty of affection, companionship, and loyalty.

Biscuit is located in Mansfield, Texas, and is available for adoption. Adopters outside the area are welcome but must arrange transportation.
