At just 1 year old and 50 pounds, Pickle is a gentle, affectionate, and incredibly sweet boy looking for his forever home. With his soulful eyes and loving personality, he's ready to become someone's loyal companion.

Pickle didn't have the easiest start to life. As a young puppy, he overcame severe demodex and anemia—a journey that sadly claimed one of his littermates. Pickle, however, proved to be a fighter. Through patience and care, he has completely overcome those early struggles to become the vibrant, healthy, and happy boy he is today.

Pickle is a thoughtful, gentle guy who likes to take a moment to check out new people before deciding they're friends. A tasty treat or a good ear scratch wins him over quickly! Once he's comfortable, he's affectionate, loyal, and loves being close to his people.

One of Pickle's favorite things is spending time with other dogs. He's currently living with a pack of four other dogs, including a blind dog and a tripod, and he is wonderfully respectful and intuitive with each of them. He's also met many other dogs of all sizes and personalities and has done great with proper introductions. His easygoing nature and good social skills make him a wonderful companion for another friendly dog.

Pickle would love a home where he can be included in everyday life. He enjoys walks, exploring new places, and joining his family on outings, but he's just as happy relaxing at home after some playtime. He's an excellent passenger in the car, behaves well on public outings, and settles nicely in his crate while his foster parent is at work, especially if he has a favorite chew to keep him busy.

Pickle has so much love to give and is ready to find the family he's been waiting for. He's looking for a home that will offer kindness, companionship, and opportunities to enjoy life together—whether that's neighborhood walks, weekend adventures, or cozy evenings at home.
