Hi, I'm Layla!I'm a sweet, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I'm house-trained, know my commands, and am eager to please my people. I'm also a smart cookie who learns quickly and responds really well to verbal direction, so I love having opportunities to learn and show off what I know!

My favorite things in the world are playing fetch, making new friends, and getting lots of love and attention. I'm friendly with people and children, and while I can sometimes be a little shy when meeting someone new, I've made great progress building my confidence and warm up quickly with a little patience and reassurance. Once I'm comfortable, my affectionate side shines through! I also live with cats and do a wonderful job respecting their boundaries, even when they'd rather keep to themselves.

I'm a social girl who enjoys playing with other dogs, too! I love a good romp and can be an enthusiastic playmate, so I do best with dogs who enjoy my playful style. I'm still learning to share some of my favorite things with other dogs in the home, so I may be happiest as your one-and-only pup. That way, I can enjoy all the attention and have my toys and goodies to myself! With thoughtful introductions and a compatible canine companion, another-dog household may also be a possibility.
