SCOTTY
Retriever
🇺🇸
Bulverde, Texas
July 4th
male, medium, senior
DESCRIPTION
Born in October 2017, Scotty came to us from ACS in heartbreaking condition. He was severely underweight and had a wound on his neck. Since then, he's been settling into a loving medical foster home, where he's receiving treatment for two tick-borne diseases.
Through every challenge, Scotty has never stopped being the gentle, loving soul he's always been. This sweet Retriever mix still greets each day with hope and simply wants what every dog deserves: love, comfort, and a family of his own.
At nearly 9 years old, Scotty is the oldest dog in our care. He's survived neglect. He's fighting to heal. And now, we're fighting for something even more important—a forever home where he can finally rest, be cherished, and enjoy the happy ending he's waited so long for.
After everything he's overcome, we'd love nothing more than to see Scotty spend his senior years exactly where he belongs: curled up beside someone who loves him as much as he'll love them.
Could you be the one to give this sweet senior the home he's been waiting for?
