Retriever and Hound Dogs Available for Adoption in Wilmington Island, Georgia

Arlo is a 2.5 year old, male, German Shepherd/terrier/hound/lab mix. He is a sweet, loyal and active boy but also loves to cuddle and his spot on the couch. He is amazing with children, but we do recommend he is either children who are aged out of their toddler phase and up as he is very large and not aware of his strength and we have had some safety concerns with our newborn. He is very vocal and will alert if he hears or sees anyone walking by or approaching the house. He is wonderful with dogs and does great with cats (he just tends to annoy them a little bit). He can be timid when meeting new men, but once comfortable and connected, does great (it may take him a little time to warm up). He is a very smart boy and knows basic commands but I think would exceed with consistent training! He is potty trained and kennel trained. He really is such a catch.??
