DESCRIPTION
Meet Cooper -
Cooper is a Redbone Hound that we recently rescued. He has lived with other dogs prior to his arrival to Furkids. Cooper had a prior leg injury that required one of his back legs to be amputated. This does not slow him down. Cooper is a super sweet boy and is ready to be someone's next family member. He is heartworm positive, which will require that you bring him back to Furkids for treatment. This is covered in his adoption fee. If you are interested in learning more, please apply to furkids.org. His adoption fee is $315 and you must be 21 years old to adopt.
ABOUT: REDBONE COONHOUND DOG BREED
The Redbone Coonhound is a versatile and intelligent hunting dog known for its striking red coat and endurance in the field. Bred in the United States, these dogs excel at tracking and treeing game, particularly raccoons. Their melodious bay is distinctive, making them valuable in hunting competitions and search and rescue operations. Redbone Coonhounds are loyal, affectionate companions, but require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive in a family setting.
