Hi, I’m Star — a 4-year-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, about 12 pounds, and Komet’s loyal little sidekick.

Where Komet goes, I go. He’s my best friend, my adventure buddy, and my comfort. My dream home? One where I get to stay right by his side.

I’m super friendly—honestly, maybe too friendly! I love meeting new people and will happily hop right into your lap like we’ve known each other forever. I don’t have a shy bone in my body.

I’m playful, active, and a little comedian. I’ll keep you smiling with all my funny little habits. I also love to cuddle and make the perfect little heater at night

I know commands like sit, stay, and spin (and yes—I actually spin in a circle, it’s adorable). I’m fully potty trained and do best when kept on a regular schedule. I’ve also done well with crate training in the past.

I’m great with kids and gentle when being picked up or handled. I do well with cats and other animals, though I can sometimes get a little vocal around certain female dogs—but it’s more “big attitude in a small body” than anything serious.

I was rescued from a shelter and adjusted right away—it felt like I had always been home. I’m usually pretty quiet, and you’ll rarely hear me bark unless I really have something to say.

These two are deeply bonded and bring out the best in each other. They play together, relax together, and truly feel like a little family. Because of that, we would love to see them adopted together into a home where they can continue to thrive side by side.

They both love toys, long-lasting chews, and especially meat-flavored treats and beef sticks.
