Ruby - Rat Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier Dog for Adoption in Portage, Wisconsin

Ruby-Jack Russel/Rat Terrier mix-female-spayed-4 years. Meet Ruby! Ruby is a quirky, sweet, sassy, and lovable little lady with a happy-go-lucky spirit and a mind of her own. Independent by nature, Ruby knows exactly who she is, and once she decides you're her person, you'll become her whole world. The bond she forms with her favorite humans is truly something special. This adventurous girl loves heading out for walks, exploring new places, and taking her time during sniff sessions. Following her nose and discovering the world around her are some of her favorite pastimes. When she's not out on an adventure, she's content being near the people she loves. Ruby is looking for an adult home where she can be the queen of the household. She prefers not to share her space with other pets and would not be comfortable living with young children. She thrives when her boundaries are respected and her unique personality is appreciated. Ruby does have allergies that require ongoing management. She receives medication that costs approximately $100 per month to help keep her comfortable. Some of her allergies are food-related, so it's important that her diet is carefully managed. The good news is that her allergy testing has already been completed, and we have detailed information about what triggers her reactions and what foods work best for her. Without proper management, Ruby can develop red, inflamed, itchy skin, but with the right care, she can continue to live a happy and comfortable life. Ruby is a truly special dog with so much love to give. She's looking for someone who will embrace her quirks, understand her needs, and give her the forever home she deserves. In return, Ruby promises a lifetime of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love. If you're searching for a one-of-a-kind dog who will love you with her whole heart, Ruby just might be your perfect match. Apply to adopt at www.cchswi.org DATCP License #266742-DS
